Math: Periods 1 and 2.  Some in one are taking the end of Module 1 test,  All in Period 2.

 

ELA: Period 4, complete introduction on practice argument essay using handout.

Vocab list given to students today.  These are words they have had before.

SOCIAL STUDIES

Some students will be working on correcting (with page numbers) the problems they missed on the district mid-term. All corrections due Tuesday!

ALL students have a packet about Sparta.  They need to read the first page only (both sides), highlight the main idea of each paragraph, underline the supporting details and circle the vocabulary words.  Then they need to define the vocab as it is used in the text. Due Tuesday.

Peck Math/Science

Math: The students practiced strategies that will help them solve long division problems.

Homework: Lesson 12 Problem Set Questions 1 and 3 only.  *You do NOT have to complete Step C!

 

Science: The students reviewed the steps in how a cloud is formed.  They are working on a short group presentation that demonstrates their knowledge of how clouds form.

Homework: Be prepared to present to the class Tuesday or Wednesday!

Science: The students observed and discussed the relationship between volume, pressure, and temperature

Homework: Complete the 4 Think Questions from the article, "Dragon's Breath".
