Math: The students reviewed solving problems using the coordinates and a coordinate graph.
Homework: None - We will likely have an assessment over Module 3 tomorrow
 
Science: The students reviewed types of cells and the organelles found inside of a cell.  We also discussed the cell project.  All materials need to be in class so we can work on construction Friday!

Math: The students reviewed yesterday's assignment and most need to go back and write stronger explanations to answer the questions on their homework.  We also practiced finding other coordinates based on clues and instructions in a word problem.
Homework: Fix the explanations from Lesson 18 Problem Set Questions 1-2; Also complete Lesson 19 Exit ticket
 
Science: The students finished their "Ribbon of Life" Web Quest and learned the function of a few organelles found in an animal cell.
Homework: None

Math: The students were introduced to a coordinate plane today - learning the 4 quadrants and the rules associated with (x,y) coordinates when locating specific quadrants.
Homework: Lesson 15 Exit Ticket questions
 
Science: It was "Mini-pond Monday" and the students hunted for organisms under the microscope using mini-ponds they created 3 weeks ago.
Homework: Be prepared for a quiz on concepts learned in Investigation 3.
