No Homework Today.  Graded homework and took Quick Quiz on Lesson 7-8 content.  We will be finishing the first part of the Geometry Unit next week as we complete Lesson 9 and 10.  We will then have a Mid Unit Test that covers all concepts from Lesson 1 through Lesson 10 somewhere near the end of the week.

Afterwards, we will be switching to Ratios and Unit 2, but complete Unit one (Volume of rectangular prisms and Surface area of 3D figures) with a lesson a week.

Each student received a soft back Collections workbook with various articles that go along with our unit. Many are non-fiction and several are fiction. The story for this week is "The Jumping Tree". It is pages 3-8 in the Collections workbook. They are to write on and complete assignment in the book.

Today's homework is to read the story in whole and then go back to page 3 and complete question 1. No other questions need to be completed.

This week is a make up week as far as homework. If your student has any missing work in English Language Arts class, they need to turn it in by this Friday. Also students are being given a chance to redo one assignment if they complete a reflection sheet. No matter what they need to turn in their reflection sheet by Friday.
