Online Math Tools

Hello Parents,

In the past couple of weeks students have been provided with links to accounts I have set up for them to practice their math skills.  The websites are xtramath.org and tenmarks.com.  I have sent notices home about each site and have required signed notices in return so that I know parents are aware.

Both of these sites are free and a wonderful resource for helping students improve their math knowledge.  We will be using both sites in class as part of our weekly math centers. However, tenmarks.com, will be a center activity to be tackled after students complete their given assignment in class.  This means that not all students may get to it each week.

It is expected that students will be logging onto both sites from home to complete assigned lessons and also to practice standards of their own choosing.

Please support and encourage your child to log onto both sites regularly to help them improve their skills and succeed in learning the standards this year.

Thank you,
Brian Bolton
