Homework: STARS pages 60-71 on Making Predictions - Questions 1-16 Skip 3/4; and 1-12.
 
Science: The students read about insects and their unique and diverse ability to adapt to different habitats.
Homework: None unless your hypothesis was not turned in or signed.  This needs to be signed and turned in tomorrow!  Materials and Procedures are due Friday!!

Language Arts: The students discussed predictions they had made about the ending and evidence to reinforce their predictions.  We also reviewed theme and what the theme of this story might be and why.
Homework: STARS pages 51-57 Questions 1-16 Skip 3/4
 
Science: The students categorized seeds as to what type of seed and the method/s of seed dispersal.
Homework: Thinking Questions for the article, "Flowers to Seeds".  We will have a short quiz tomorrow on Investigation 7.

Language Arts: The students read pages 129-144 from My Side of the Mountain and began working on the Day 9 summaries and Journal Entries.
Homework: Day summaries and journal entries are due tomorrow.
 
Science: The students answered a question regarding the process of plant reproduction and collected different types of seeds in order to discuss seed dispersal features tomorrow.
Homework: Be sure to have at least 6 different types of seeds tomorrow! Peck's Class - Colored Comic Strips are due tomorrow!
 
Book orders are due no later than Monday April 7th!!
