Math: Period 1 Problem Set for Lesson 24
 
Period 2 Problem Set for Lesson 23 mostly done in class.
 
ELA: Preposition Packet p. 28 and Questions for The Ravine from Analyzing the Text on p. 14 in text #1, 2, 4, 6

Peck Math/Science

Math: The students finished the Module 1 Post Test if they were not done, and completed the Module 2 Pretest!  We are done testing for a while now!
Homework: None!
 
Science: The students reviewed the physical property of density and answered an application question that demonstrated their understanding of density.
Homework: Read the article, "Density" and answer the Think Questions.

Math: The students received last week's Topic D Test results.  We spent some time reteaching strategies to solve percent based upon the test results.  Some students completed the" Topic D 2nd Chance Test".  You can check out the results on Power Schools.
Homework: None!
 
Science: Investigation 4 Tests were returned today.  Students who scored below a 70% received a Correct/Return opportunity.  The original test must be signed by a parent, and the corrected test must be turned in NO LATER than Friday Oct. 30th.  The tests should be returned to me stapled together just as I passed them out today.
Homework: None, unless you plan to take the Correct/Return option!
**Parents! You can check Power Schools to see how your child performed on this test! 

SOCIAL STUDIES

All tests have been returned.  If your student scored below a 70% they may Correct and Return, They must not erase the old answers, and they DO need to put the page number where they found the correct answer.

Math: The students practiced solving percent problems for one more day!

Science: The students reviewed the properties of the three types of heat transfers learned - conduction, radiation and re-radiation.
Homework: After reading the article, "Heating the Atmosphere", answer the 6 Think Questions.  Due Tomorrow!
Investigation 4 Test on Thursday for Periods 2 and 3 and Test Friday for Periods 4 and 5! 

SOCIAL STUDIES

The students were given a packet (Quiz 1-4) to fill out with page numbers to show where they found the correct answer in the book.
They will have time on Wednesday to work on this in class and we will go over it in preparation for their test on Thursday (or Friday)
