Homework: Water Molecule Stories are due Friday.  We will be working on them in class on Wednesday after Field Day

Math: We did Evaluating Expressions, p. 44 (2-32 evens) in class, graded and collected, then continued on to Solving Equations by learning how to isolate the variable. 

Period 1 should finish the practice problems on back side of Solving Equations tab of Foldables notes.

Period 2 and 4, no homework, we will continue in class.

 

L.A.: 2nd draft of Argument Essay.  Spelling Packet due.  Affixes quiz tomorrow.

Language Arts: The students read and typed their summaries and journal entries for My Side of the Mountain.  The focus was on characterization and relating the story to real world experiences.

Homework: Day 4 entries are due tomorrow.

 

Science: The students made observations of roots based on what they saw under the microscopes.
