Math: We are in the middle of Lesson 5.  Complete Example 2 p. 16

Peck Math/Science

Math: The class reviewed Lesson 6 today and used tape diagrams to compare ratios in order to solve real-world problems.

Homework: Lesson 6 Problem Set/Exit Ticket

 

Science: The students presented Power Points that demonstrated their knowledge on specific Natural Disasters.

Homework: None

Peck Science/Math Homework

Science: The students were given the day to work on their Natural Disaster Power Point Presentations.  Most classes will be presenting tomorrow.

Homework: None

 

Math: The class reviewed the skills taught in Lesson 5 Engage NY

Homework: Redo or correct missed questions from the Lesson 5 Exit ticket/Problem Set

ELA Centers: Period 4 (Peck's) class did not get to meet today due to the Pictures schedule.  All others had their center activity if not finished.

ELA: Centers,  all student should read "Unbroken" from their Scholastic Scope, passed out today.  Focus this week: Determining a central idea or theme, determining narrative elements of a non-fiction narrative.  We are practicing Words Their Way this week and will probably begin that next week.
