Peck-Science Homework

We had GREAT with Officer Jackson in class today.

Tomorrow we will be seeing a presentation by Brady Ellison, Olympic Archer, during science class. If your child has not brought in a permission slip to participate in this presentation he/she will be placed in another classroom during the presentation. Please remind your child to bring in a signed permission slip!

In the next few days I am asking for some cutting samples that are needed for the Diversity of Life unit. I need the branch as we are going to be growing these cuttings to show roots in class.

Please see the list below, and if you can spare any of these plants or cuttings, our class would greatly appreciate it!

Flowering Plant such as a carnation or rose

Ivy of any type

Sweet potato

Small tree or shrub branch with leaves

Social Studies-
A worksheet/color sheet was given on 12-15-10.  This is due January 3rd.  We will continue working on Ancient Greece in anticipation of Greek and Roman Day on February 10th.
