Bolton Math and L.A.

Math: Students have papers explaining websites to help in improving math skills this year.  They are to get a parent signature.  (MobyMax.com and Xtramath.org are the sites)

 

L.A. : complete the last two paragraphs of your three goals using the PEEL paragraph writing strategy discussed in class. (Point/Purpose/Position, Evidence, Explanation, Link)

Peck-Homework

Welcome to 6th Grade! It was great to finally meet everyone!  I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year.

Homework for tonight includes getting the 6th Grade Packet and Office Packet signed and returned ASAP.  The students may also need to bring in a picture of themselves for the newspaper activity if they decided not to draw. 

STEWART -Language Arts

Spelling Packet given on Monday- due on Friday.  Please do not write in the packet.  Newspaper Front Page due by Friday.  We will be working on it some in class.

Welcome back to a brand new year. Our first full day is Monday, August 12, 2013. Our school start times are; first bell at 8:30 for release to the field, first school start bell will be 8:40 a.m., and school begins promptly at 8:45 a.m.

We welcome Mrs. Peck back to our Sixth Grade team this year as our Science teacher.  Mr. Bolton comes back as our Math teacher.  Mrs. Stewart remains as our Social Studies teacher.  All teachers will teach Language Arts to their homeroom.

We look forward to the adventurous new schedule we have for this year and hope you're excited about it, too.
