Science: Today the students determined where weather happened and began exploring in Investigation 2 about the properties of air.

Math: The students reviewed prime and composite numbers and practice performing the operation of prime factorization.

The students learned and practiced problem solving skills today.

Peck-Science Homework

The students went out and recorded today's weather using the weather instruments I introduced last week.  We reviewed what each instrument measures by making a flip book for our notebook. 

The students will be working in teams of four to report the weather each day for the next couple weeks.

 

Homework: Answer the questions that go along with the "Naming Hurricanes" article. Due Tuesday!
