Math: The students learned and practice some of the properties regarding absolute value.

Homework: Lesson 11 Exit ticket; They may also complete Question #2 from the Problem Set for Extra Credit!

 

Science: The students compared and contrasted an Elodea leaf and a Paramecium and determined which one was an organism and which one wasn't and why.

Homework: Complete the Think Questions for the article "The Lowly Paramecium".

Bolton ELA and MAth

ELA: began center activities.

Peck Math/Science

Math: The students defined absolute value and magnitude and learned how to write a statement using absolute value.

Homework: Lesson 11 Problem Set Questions 1, 3, 5, 7, 9

 

Science: The students observed a paramecium and recorded its size and behaviors.
