Math: The students identified and wrote mathematical expressions based on phrases and clues provided.
Homework: Lesson 17 Problem Set; We do have a Mid-Module Quiz tomorrow!
Science: The students identified the main parts of a root and looked at root samples under the microscope.
Homework: Read the "Seeds and Roots" article and answer the 9 questions. We have a quiz on Investigation 5 tomorrow! this article is a great study guide!

Peck Math/Science
Math: The students are blasting through the early lessons of Module 4! We practiced writing and reading Division Expressions. We also identified the several ways that division can be expressed.
Homework: Problem Sets 13 AND 14
Science: The students hypothesized as to what differences there would be between a plant exposed to sunlight and one kept in the dark. The students also determined that the root grows before the stem when a plant sprouts.
Homework: None
Final Camp Surf deposits are due Thursday March 5th!
