SOCIAL STUDIES TEST Wednesday!!

Students were given the study guide today.  It is not homework (yet).

Bolton Math and L.A.

Math: Study Guide for Test on Monday.  Complete back side of guide for tomorrow.  The IMN problems will be completed in class Thursday and Friday for review.

 

L.A.: Spelling due and be prepared for Reading Group

Peck Language Arts/Science

Language Arts: The students worked together to identify theme in short stories and the story "The Space Rocks"

Homework: The students will complete the "Theme" packet.  Do not forget Spelling Packets are due Friday!

 

Science: The students were challenged to layer different colored salt solutions in order to demonstrate density

Homework: None!

Social Studies (Wednesday)

p. 72 (textbook)  1-7

SOCIAL STUDIES TEST NEXT WEDNESDAY

On Friday a Study Guide will be given.  It is NOT homework as your child will work on it in class on Monday.  On Tuesday IF THE STUDY GUIDE IS 100% COMPLETED,  we will go over it in class.  If your child does NOT complete the study guide- they will be allowed to work on it in the next room.  However, those students in the next room do not get to participate in the discussion of the right answers.

SOCIAL STUDIES

The Eye of Horus: Egyptian Gods worksheet

We did a close reading activity in class and students had the opportunity to begin the challenge questions at school (appx 15 minutes of independent practice time).

Peck Language Arts/Science

Language Arts: The students read a Fiction and Nonfiction story relating to asteroids and meteorites and their affects on Earth.

Homework: Complete the Closed Reading questions for BOTH stories and the Critical Reading for "Space Attack" only.

 

Science: The students completed the test for Investigation 4

Homework: None!
