Language Arts: The students worked on a literary skills packet from The Best School Year Ever and a character sketch prewrite activity.

Science: The students completed the Investigations 1 and 2 Exam

Homework: None!

Bolton Math and L.A.

Math: MobyMax and Xtramath.  Review what a ratio is, what is ratio language. 

 

L.A.: Summary due Friday, Spelling packet due Thursday, Test Friday.  Should Pre-Read "A Bloddy History" from your Scholastic Scope magazine.

STEWART- Reading/Spelling

Reading- vocab and questions on The Egypt Girls

Spelling- Packet/TEST on Friday

SOCIAL STUDIES

Notebook Pages due on Wednesday. (p. 15-16-17-18)  The students had all class period on Friday and Monday to complete this at school.

Peck - Language Arts/Science

Language Arts: The students mapped out the story, The Best School Year Ever, using the story elements. They also began sketching out the characteristics of a specific character from the story.

Homework: The story map is due for tomorrow!

 

Science: The students reviewed for the test tomorrow and completed a notebook quiz to test their organization skills!

Homework: TEST tomorrow on Investigations 1 and 2!  STUDY!!

WANT TO GO TO CAMP SURF AS A CHAPERONE????

While we have not picked chaperones for the trip yet, EVERY parent going will have to have completed the Volunteer Training.  The easiest one to attend,for most people, is THIS Thursday Sept 5th at 7:00pm in the school cafeteria.  Other trainings will be held during the day in upcoming months.

 

The training doesn't take very long- under an hour.  So, if you are interested in being a chaperone for this trip- or volunteering in the school- please attend!!
