Peck-Science Homework

We reviewed what a weather balloon is and how it helps predict the weather and study climate change.  The students worked on the study guide in preparation for tomorrow's test on Inv. 6.  The study guide is not due as an assignment, but is a HUGE tool for being successful tomorrow!

Peck-Science Homework

Today the students shared their poems and reviewed different types of clouds and the weather they produce.  They also learned how a weather balloon works and how it is used to predict the weather.

 

Homework: Read the "Weather Balloon" article on p. 43-44 and answer the 4 questions at the end in your spiral notebooks.

Peck-Science Homework

I apologize for not posting yesterday's homework. Fortunately everyone was prepared today! We reviewed how a cloud is formed and wrote the 5 main steps involved in cloud formation.  The students also competed a reading on Observing Clouds and answered the 5 questions at the end.

Homework: If you did not finish the Thinking Questions at the end of the article, they are due for Monday! 

Reminder! If you are entering the Cloud Poem Contest, your poem needs to be on a separate piece of paper with your name and period.
