The students went out and recorded today's weather using the weather instruments I introduced last week. We reviewed what each instrument measures by making a flip book for our notebook.
The students will be working in teams of four to report the weather each day for the next couple weeks.

Today the students discussed different types of weather and focused on specific types of severe weather. The students learned how hail and hurricanes are formed . For homework tonight, hey are reading an article that explains how hurricanes are named.
